The manual transmission is five-speed with synchromesh on all speeds and reverse. The gear lever movements are transmitted to the manual transmission by cables, eliminating the transfer of vibrations from driveline to lever. (Standard on 2.4 and T5)
HU-613 single CD in-dash stereo cassette, eight speakers, 4x25 watt amplifier, with dual-diversity antenna.
The front seating positions in the car have three-point seat belts with pyrotechnical pretensioners. These pretensioners automatically tighten the seat belts or remove all the slack from the belt in a split second in the event of a collision. The front belts have also been supplemented with load-limiters, which help limit the load imposed on the occupant, thereby slowing the occupant more gently.
